I captured this photo while I was walking through Tikal in Guatemala, which is a premier Mayan archaeological site in northern Guatemala’s Petén jungle, where I came across a family of spider monkeys swinging through the trees. I only had a split second to put on my telescopic lens to capture the shot before they swung away.
